The Day of Excellence will be held this Friday, 22.10.10. The event will be held in the aktovii zal of the main campus.

Attendance is mandatory to all students from 1st to 5th course and thus they will have a half-day on that date.

Regrettably, the 6th year students do not have the same privilege and will be having a full working day on that date.

The Day of Excellence [день отличников], which was scheduled this Friday, the 15th of October 2010, has been postponed until next Friday, 22nd of October 2010.

Whether or not the 15th is still a half-day has not been confirmed.

Formation of Volgograd Malaysian Indian Association

The MSA would like to congratulate the Volgograd Malaysian Indian Association [VMIA] on the formation of this organization.

Heading the VMIA is Navaresh Retnasingam, who is also the vice president for the MSA. The VMIA was established to ensure the rights and welfare of the Malaysian Indian students studying in the Volgograd State Medical University are protected. Membership is through registration and every Malaysian Indian is welcomed to join the association.

The MSA looks forward to cooperate with the VMIA and is ready to offer any assistance should the need arises.
